Controlling Anger

Today is the 11th Ramadhan 1435 and as part of our Ramadhan Activities we have been learning about Controlling Anger.

I downloaded and printed this fantastic ‘Controlling Anger’ Workbook from A Muslim Homeschool. The kids all worked together on it. We discussed the subject, what makes us angry, how we feel when we are angry, how we behave when we are angry, etc.

The workbook is packed full of ahadeeth on the steps we should take to prevent and control anger.

My son also wrote about this subject in his Ramadhan Notebook and what we should say if we become angry whilst fast.

The kids have been completing their moon phase charts every day and now that the chart is showing significant changes we took an opportunity to quickly look back and review what we had learned on Moon Phases.

We also had a quick recap on what we learned in our lesson about Dates and my daughter wrote about the benefits of breaking our fast with dates in her notebook from TJ Ramadan.

  1. Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh, Maashaa’Allaah Ukhtee – may Allaah bless you and your children with all the best. Alhamdulillaah, your blog and activities are really inspirational for me and my son. I hadn’t visited in a while and I’m so happy to be back again. I will definitely be downloading more lapbook templates and other great projects from here – Jazaakumullaahu khayran and tell your children – “keep up the great work – may Allaah preserve you!” Your Sister, Umm Omar
