Deserts Lapbook

1

During our recent Weekly Theme we have been learning about deserts, We have made a Desert Animals Lapbook and a Camel Lapbook. I came across this Desert Lapbook by chance while searching for worksheets on deserts. You can also check out our Camel Notebook Pages.

The kids all worked together to complete it. This is how it looks when it folds out.

We read the information together and then completed the minibooks. In this flap the kids coloured the facts that describe a desert.

We learned about cactus plants and the kids dictated to me what they had learned and I completed this shutter book.

At the end of the week we bought some mini-cactus plants.

We glued down the pictures of items we’d need to take when exploring the desert.

Basma wrote and drew pictures to show what she’d see if she lived in the desert.
